Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA)
The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) is catalyst for experiencing the art of our time. Visual art exhibitions, music, dance, theater, and education are all part of SECCA’s focus as a creative leader providing artists of the region a platform for visibility. Opened in 1956, SECCA was a response to the community and regional need for space dedicated to the works of local artists. Today, SECCA continues to produce original exhibitions, publications and programs with international and American contemporary artists.
Admission is free for everyone and SECCA is located in the Historic Reynolda District of Winston-Salem. Guided tours are available and need to be booked in advance. The property is also available to rent for private events, such as weddings, and can accommodate up to 300 people.
