Lego ContestIn memory of her optimism and finding the positive, the Village of Clemmons presents the Betty White Loves Clemmons Lego Contest

LEGOS… the timeless building blocks for ages 4-99

Betty White would have turned 100 this month and would have had only a few weeks left for building before she aged out.

In her honor and as a tribute to her legacy, we are excited to announce our very first LEGO contest in the Village of Clemmons!

The LEGO building contest will have 4 age divisions:

  • ages 4-7
  • 8-13
  • 14-18
  • Adult 19 and up

Entries will be accepted at Village Hall on Friday, February 11th, 4-6pm and Saturday, February 12th, 10am-noon

Contest Rules:

  • Participants may submit 1 entry only
  • Builds must be original design- no kits/Lego sets!
  • All entries must fit on a 10 x 10 base plate
  • All pieces must be connected to each other or the base plate- no loose pieces
  • Entries must be related to Clemmons (ex: fishing pier, favorite building, landmark, food at a local restaurant, etc.)
  • Index card with the following must be included:
    • Side 1: Name of the creation and how it relates to Clemmons
    • Side 2: Name, age, (parent’s name if a minor), contact phone number, contact email

Judging will take place on the evening of February 15th by the Clemmons Planning Board

Entries will be open for public viewing on a date TBA.  Suggested entry fee: donation of dog/cat food or cash for the Humane Society
