The Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department uses funds generated from the stormwater fees that are collected on the tax bill to help repair drainage systems within the public right-of-way. These projects range from drainage swale establishment and stabilization to repairs of pipe and culvert systems. These minor projects are handled to prevent erosion, flooding, public safety hazards, and many other benefits. The Village of Clemmons is only responsible for the drainage systems within the right of way on Village-owned streets. All private and NCDOT roads, and their drainage systems, are maintained by other entities. Please contact us today if you have a drainage issue within the public right-of-way that needs to be addressed.
