There are plenty of things to do outdoors in the Clemmons area and something for every age.  Tanglewood Park is a great destination for the whole family with many amenities to keep the outdoor fun flowing.  Fishing in Clemmons is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with spots along the Yadkin River and on Village Point Lake to cast a line.  You can also take stroll along the Village Point Greenway, a 3/4 –mile path around Village Point Lake with spectacular views.

Village Point Greenway consists of nearly ¾-miles of paved paths around Village Point Lake and a segment adjacent to Frank Morgan Elementary School.  As the Village Point Area continues to develop, a series of greenway connectors will eventually link neighborhoods and other destinations throughout the Village.

Tanglewood Park is a great place to get outdoors, unwind, and relax.  There’s something for just about everyone with playgrounds, hiking trails, a dog park and concert shell.  You can also have fun horseback riding, spending the afternoon on paddle boats or enjoying a game or two of tennis.

Fishing

Numerous access points along the Yadkin River provide ample opportunities to test your fishing skills.  Village Point Lake also boasts a fishing pier that allows urban community fishing opportunities for residents and visitors to fish a stocked lake throughout the year.

Tanglewood Park offers state-of-the art playgrounds, which means safety and fun are the top priorities.  There are two playgrounds within the park.  One is located adjacent to Shelter #4 and the other is near Mallard Lake.
