Village of Clemmons “Movie Night in the Village” Series was piloted in 2015 and met with great success.  Movie Night in the Village presents family-friendly movies projected on the big screen at the front fields of the Jerry Long YMCA, free of charge.  Movie-goers bring blankets or chairs.

Bring your bike/trike for scheduled rides, a bike rodeo, bike checks, and more! Explore vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the touch-a-truck. Enjoy kids crafts, balloon animal artistry, and entertainment throughout the day. Make your own smoothie with a blender bike.

Bike MS: Tour to Tanglewood 2017 is a ride that will take you farther than you’ve ever gone before. What makes this ride so special? There are multiple route options, all of which are well supported with fully-stocked rest stops every 10-15 miles, a great lunch stop each day and safety provided by medical personnel, HAM radio operators, law enforcement and motorcycle escorts.

The Clemmons Annual Tree Lighting returned in 2015 in coordination with a partnership with the Friends for the Library of the Clemmons Branch of the Forsyth County Library System.  The community gathers around the tree for caroling and the ceremonial lighting of the tree.  Each year, a family within in the community is selected to light the tree.

The Lewisville Clemmons Chamber of Commerce will hold its 8th Annual Clemmons Community Day on Saturday, May 6th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Jerry Long Family YMCA, 1150 South Peace Haven Road in Clemmons.  For a fourth year we are partnering with the Jerry Long Family YMCA, a member of our Chamber, to host this community-wide event.  The event will provide a venue for our local businesses to feature their products and services and will also observe the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day.

Join us for the 17th Annual North Carolina Wine Festival at Tanglewood Park, May 27th! Gates open and tastings begin at noon and last until 6:00 pm. Enjoy tasting from over 25 North Carolina Wineries! Once your glass is filled  groove to the music from live bands, grab a bite from our food vendors and enjoy browsing the exhibitor’s tents for treasures.

The annual Monster Dash and Goblin Hop provides an opportunity for children to dress in their Halloween costume and “goblin hop” along the Village Point Greenway.  Local businesses and organizations line the greenway with various kid’s activities and games.  The activities come in all shapes and sizes.

The Village Farmers Market is a locally grown in-season diverse producer market with a select value added products that embraces the slow food movement and values the direct farmer/customer relationship.

Festival-goers of all ages enjoy live entertainment including a bluegrass jam and competitive clogging teams from ProDance Academy.  Farmers’ booths are filled with the freshest ingredients of the season for customers to purchase.  Community partners also line the festival with kids’ crafts and activities including potato stamping, face painting, basketball, and so much more!

The main star of the show is of course the ice cream.  There is an “Ice Cream Freeze-Off” competition among individual competitors.  This year the event will continue to expand with a professional competition voted on by attendees.

Festival of Lights

Nov 17 - Jan 1, 6pm - 11pm nightly

Journey through 100 different displays of lights illuminating the sky at Tanglewood Park.  Each year, thousands of families add this to their must see holiday traditions.  Regardless of age, seeing over a million lights certainly adds to the magic of the season.  Make sure to stop along the route at the Gift Village to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, as well as enjoy concessions and local group performances.  The Gift Shop is located Tanglewood’s Red Barn featuring items from local crafters.

Open 6PM to 11PM nightly during season.
